Languages Week 2017

Once again we have celebrated Languages Week at Holme Grange in style with quizzes, competitions and delicious lunches from all over Europe.  The emphasis this year has been on Art, each day we have looked at a particular artist and painting from Europe and looked at the history and culture behind each painting.  Artists have included Monet, Paula Rego, Picasso and Duerer.

Year 8 delivered a very entertaining assembly – they told the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar – (La chenille qui fait des trous) in French.  It was very enjoyable and an excellent way to end our languages week.
